Following his government service, he entered private practice, joining Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath as their appellate and trial support attorney in 2021. Based on his experience, including his role as lead counsel in over 100 published appeals, Mr. Hernandez obtained his board certification in appellate practice from the Florida Bar in 2022.
