Marc Hernandez

Marc Hernandez is an accomplished appellate attorney specializing in personal injury law at Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath in West Palm Beach, Florida. With a statewide reach, he provides exemplary legal representation to clients across Florida.

A native of South Florida, Mr. Hernandez obtained his J.D. in 2014 from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, building upon his foundation with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 2011. Complementing his legal knowledge, he holds a M.S. in criminal justice from Florida State University. He is authorized to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, Northern District of Florida, and federal appellate courts including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. 

Mr. Hernandez’s dedication to academic excellence was duly recognized with the Order of the Coif during his tenure at the University of Florida College of Law. Furthermore, his outstanding academic achievements earned him Phi Beta Kappa distinction and was honored with the Gertrude Brick Award from the Florida Law Review. 

Bringing an extensive wealth of skill to his professional endeavors, Mr. Hernandez has a distinguished background, including positions as a law clerk at two district courts of appeal in Florida, culminating in his appointment as the assistant attorney general at the Florida Office of the Attorney General, where he worked on high-profile criminal appeals. Following his government service, he entered private practice, joining Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath as their appellate and trial support attorney in 2021. Based on his experience, including his role as lead counsel in over 100 published appeals, Mr. Hernandez obtained his board certification in appellate practice from the Florida Bar in 2022.

In addition to his legal pursuits, Mr. Hernandez has maintained affiliations with several organizations, such as the Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition, Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Florida Justice Association.
