Earning his bachelor’s degree from the Florida State University in 1992, Mr. Baxter pursued his legal education at the Nova Southeastern University College of Law. He received his Juris Doctor in 1996 and was licensed to practice in Florida the same year. He is also admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mr. Baxter began his career serving as an assistant state attorney in Miami-Dade County, prosecuting more than 70 jury trials. Following this, he spent 16 years representing hospitals and health care providers in medical negligence defense cases before joining his current firm in 2015.
