Rafael J. Roca

Rafael J. Roca is a highly qualified and assertive civil trial attorney serving clients in West Palm Beach, Florida, from the law firm GoldLaw - Personal Injury Lawyers. Since the time he joined the firm in 2020, he has efficiently represented individuals of Palm Beach County in personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability cases, recovering millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements.

Hailing from Cuba, Mr. Roca and his family relocated to the United States when he was a mere 10 months old, establishing Miami as their cherished home ever since. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in 1984 at Florida State University and his Juris Doctor at St. Thomas University School of Law in 1987. He started working as a law clerk for some of South Florida's most prestigious personal injury firms. Before becoming a partner at a prominent West Palm Beach firm, he gained experience as an associate attorney for a number of years.

Board-certified as a specialist in civil trial law by The Florida Bar, Mr. Roca was offered membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum for his accomplishments. Some of his noteworthy verdicts and settlements include a $2.7 million settlement in a truck collision case, $2.7 million for an individual who succumbed to workplace accident and a $1.7 million jury verdict for the victim of sexual assault.

A leader in his field, Mr. Roca has served as the vice president of Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association and the Hispanic Human Resources Council. He is also the former president of Palm Beach County Justice Association and the chair of 15th Judicial Circuit – Judicial Nominating Committee. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association and the American Association for Justice.
