Steven Bell

Steven Bell is a criminal defense attorney in West Palm Beach, Florida. Mr. Bell is a partner at Meltzer & Bell, P.A., and he represents clients in areas, including West Palm Beach, Pierce Port and Saint Lucie. He has over 15 years of legal experience defending clients in a wide variety of criminal matters. 

Mr. Bell handles cases involving airport arrests, domestic violence, drug crimes, DUI, economic crimes, federal crimes, firearm charges, homicide, immigration crimes, juvenile charges, probation violation, prostitution, record sealing, sexual offenses, theft, traffic violations, violent crimes and weapons crimes. He is familiar with all phases of the criminal process and advises his clients on the consequences of a potential conviction while working to protect their rights.

Additionally, Mr. Bell has experience representing first-time offenders or non-Florida residents. Over his career, he has successfully secured reduced or dismissed charges for numerous clients.

He also serves on the Palm Beach Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers judicial committee.

Mr. Bell received a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida and earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He began his legal career at the Law Office of the Public Defender, Broward County, before forming Meltzer & Bell, P.A.
