Travis R. Hollifield of Hollifield Legal Centre focuses his practice on working women’s employment law cases in Orlando and all around Central Florida. From its inception in 1996 through today, the intent of the Centre is to fight for women who are struggling in the workplace with sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and unpaid wages. The firm also negotiates severance agreements and litigates non-compete agreements. In addition, Mr. Hollifield represents clients with intellectual property disputes including copyright infringement, trademark infringement, patent infringement, trade secret claims, Internet disputes and computer law issues.
Mr. Hollifield has been honored as one of the Best Lawyers in America* every year since 2009. Additionally, he is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Appellate Mediator and a certified mediator for the U.S. District Court - Middle District of Florida. He is also an active member of the Federal Bar Association — Orlando Chapter, the National and Florida Employment Lawyers Associations, and the Orange County Bar Association's Labor and Employment, Intellectual Property, and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections.
Mr. Hollifield has given presentations on numerous employment law topics including sexual harassment, pregnancy discrimination, the Family and Medical Leave Act, wage theft, successor liability issues, and gender, age, and disability discrimination. In addition, he has held adjunct teaching positions in employment law, intellectual property law, and entertainment law for Barry University's School of Law in Orlando. He has also written for several publications, including articles on topics such as emerging protections for nursing mothers in the workplace and the scope of discovery into the private lives of sexual harassment claimants.
Finally, Mr. Hollifield is an Arbitrator who arbitrates claims in the Labor & Employment Law field.
