A partner at Meriwether & Tharp, LLC, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, David Beaudry focuses his practice exclusively on divorce and other family law matters. He represents clients throughout Georgia, and he works hard to secure successful resolutions of their often sensitive legal issues, whether through negotiation, mediation or trial.
Mr. Beaudry received a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. He then pursued his legal education at the Seton Hall University School of Law, and during his third year, he participated as a student attorney in the school's Family Law Clinic before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2001.
After graduation, Mr. Beaudry served a year's clerkship for a family law judge on the New Jersey Superior Court in Bergen County. This experience gave him a keen understanding of the legal issues that arise in family law cases. After moving to Georgia, Mr. Beaudry spent six years as an associate with an Atlanta family law firm before leaving in 2009 to join Meriwether & Tharp, LLC. During his career, Mr. Beaudry has earned the esteem of his fellow professionals for his ethical and compassionate way in which he handles his clients' matters. One such indication has been his receipt of a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.
Mr. Beaudry is a sought-after speaker and has led numerous continuing legal education seminars in order to help other attorneys improve their family law practices. A member of several legal organizations, including the American, Atlanta and Forsyth County bar associations, he is also active in a local community theater group and serves on its board of directors, as well as the Board of Directors for his Homeowners Association.
