George E. Lee

As the founding partner of the Lee & Peynado Immigration Law Group, George E. Lee is dedicated to serving clients in the Atlanta, Georgia metropolitan area, as well as throughout the United States. He focuses his practice exclusively on immigration and nationality law, primarily handling nonimmigrant and immigrant employment based cases. The law firm of Lee & Peynado handles all aspects of immigration & nationality law including family-based cases, asylum and removal work.

In 1976, Mr. Lee completed his undergraduate education at The University of Georgia, graduating cum laude. He then went on to attend the Lewis & Clark Law School. From there, Mr. Lee earned a law degree in 1981.

For more than 39 years, Mr. Lee has committed himself to helping his clients navigate the immigration and naturalization process. He understands the challenges and complexities that those seeking entrance into the U.S. often face, which is why he offers his clients the personalized and focused attention they deserve. With each case he handles, it is Mr. Lee's goal to reduce his clients' stress and to help alleviate as much of the uncertainty as possible. He has represented clients at the federal court level, as well as before the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Labor. Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Lee is an active member of the legal community. He previously served as chair for the American Immigration Lawyers Association's Georgia-Alabama Chapter, and he is a member of the British American Business Group, the Canada-America Society and The Japan-America Society of Georgia, Inc. Mr. Lee also has shared his legal knowledge by speaking at conferences and seminars hosted by various legal associations on topics relating to immigration law.
