    Attorney Profile

As a partner at Lee & Peynado Immigration Law Group, Pamela Peynado Stewart focuses exclusively on immigration law cases. She represents people throughout Georgia who are facing matters such as removal, deportation and family-based issues.

An immigrant herself, Mrs. Stewart understands what her clients are experiencing when they come to this country. She was born in the Dominican Republic and can speak to a client’s fears, wishes and goals.

Though she herself experienced immigration, it was not until earning her undergraduate degree that Mrs. Stewart became passionate about helping others through the process. She received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2007 from Georgia State University. In 2014, she earned a Juris Doctor from the Georgia State University College of Law, where she served as the president of the Hispanic Student Bar Association.

Is easy to see why so many clients turn to her for guidance. Not only is she sensitive to a client’s needs, but she is also highly experienced in the many different ways a case could play out. She has advocated for people in hearings before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the immigration courts in various states and various appellate courts.

Highly involved in the legal community, Mrs. Stewart has held leadership positions in various organizations, such as the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, Multi Bar Leadership Council, Latin American Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

When she is not at her practice, Mrs. Stewart gives back to her community. She co-founded Project CPF, an organization to help the less fortunate and raises money for AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run as well as for Susan G. Komen. Mrs. Stewart also finds great joy in mentoring young lawyers and students. In 2017, she served as an assistant coach of the Maynard Jackson High School Mock Trial Team and currently serves as a coach of the South Gwinnett High School Mock Trial team.
