Adam L. Hebbard

Adam L. Hebbard, the driving force behind HY Law in Athens, Georgia, has been passionately committed to guiding clients through their legal journeys for over 15 years. His legal prowess spans a broad spectrum, including criminal defense for both felonies and misdemeanors, civil litigation for plaintiffs and defendants, family law, juvenile court representation, probate, trust, estate and guardianship cases, as well as counsel for both individuals and businesses outside of litigation contexts. He also handles personal injury and wrongful death cases with a commitment to justice.

A proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, Mr. Hebbard earned his B.A. in history in 2005 and his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2008. He was licensed to practice in Georgia the same year and admitted to the United States District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.

Currently acting as the vice-chair of the General Practice and Trial Section of the State Bar of Georgia, Mr. Hebbard has also been an active member and former chair of the Georgia High School Mock Trial State Board. He coordinates the Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition at both regional and district levels and teaches criminal litigation at the University of Georgia School of Law.

As a frequent speaker at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) events, Mr. Hebbard covers a wide range of topics, such as contract drafting and negotiation, administrative law practice, civil forfeitures, juvenile law and various criminal matters. His mission is to solve his clients' challenges through negotiation or courtroom battles. He is dedicated to resolving issues so clients can return to their daily lives.
