A graduate of the University of Florida, Mr. Rothman earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in political science in 1989. He then attended the University of Georgia School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor in 1992. Since then, he has been admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and is also admitted before the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
Mr. Rothman is a member of the Western Judicial Bar Association, the DUI Defense Lawyers Association, the National College for DUI Defense and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. With over 25 years of experience, he is prepared to defend the rights of anyone convicted of a crime in the state of Georgia.
A regular speaker for professional organizations, he has presented at the Georgia DUI Update conference, the Defense of Drinking Drivers Institute and the Handling Administrative License Suspension Hearings conference. Mr. Rothman advocates for his clients in matters concerning field sobriety, blood and breath testing, felony, repeat and underage DUI, and probation violation.
