Robert Huestis

Robert Huestis is a shareholder attorney at Huestis Law LLC, whose professional approach combines in-depth legal analysis with a personal touch, ensuring that each client receives a tailored consultation and robust representation. Concentrating his practice in Athens, Georgia, and across Northeast Georgia, he encompasses a broad spectrum of business litigation, including organizational disputes, business torts, professional malpractice and insurance coverage litigation, among others. With over two decades of experience in the field, he has developed a robust practice that covers motions, trials and appeals, reflecting his comprehensive understanding of corporate and contract law.

Educationally, Mr. Huestis has an impressive background, holding a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, where he graduated cum laude, and a Juris Doctor from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Since being licensed in 1999, he has been admitted to practice across various courts, including all Georgia state, superior and appellate courts, multiple U.S. district courts in Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Beyond his litigation work, Mr. Huestis actively contributes to the legal community through leadership roles and educational outreach. He is a recognized figure in both the Atlanta Bar and the Western Circuit Bar Associations, often speaking at professional seminars on topics ranging from legal ethics to contract litigation.
