A. McCampbell Gibson

A. McCampbell ("Mac") Gibson is a judicious lawyer with over 30 years of experience and is the founder of Gibson Legal Works LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, and serves clients such as owners of hotels, national retailers, financial technology companies, restaurants, convenience stores and more in real estate matters, as well as in business litigation issues involving contract disputes, restrictive covenant, trespass and nuisance claims, and eminent domain matters.  Furthermore, he co-chairs the firm’s Real Estate Litigation Team and is knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial litigation as well.  Mr. Gibson is also certified as a mediator.

After completing his undergraduate studies in 1987 and graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University, Mr. Gibson entered the United States Army Reserve, and later, became a captain and judge advocate general. He attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was the editor of the Georgia Law Review and participated in mock trial competitions. He received his Juris Doctor in 1990 and, in the same year, his license to practice in Georgia. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Gibson has gained the respect of his peers and legal organizations for his efficacious work in promoting a personalized, client-centric practice for businesses, acting as a stalwart companion to his clients from the beginning to the end of their cases.
