After completing his B.A. in mass communication in 2006 at Samford University, Mr. Weatherby pursued his legal education at the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was a part of the SBA Student Affairs Committee and a recipient of the William King Meadow Award. He gained valuable experience interning at a few law firms and at the Western Circuit of Georgia Public Defender’s Office.
Licensed to practice in Georgia since 2010, Mr. Weatherby is also authorized to practice in the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Mr. Weatherby works as a community volunteer. He is a board member of the Georgia State Bar's Professional Liability Section and has been an adjunct lecturer at Georgia State University for several years. He is on his church's administrative council and the president of his neighborhood association.
