Amy K. Waggoner is the founding partner of Waggoner Family Law, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia. Serving clients across the entire state of Georgia, her practice is mainly focused on divorce mediation, child custody and support, paternity, and legitimization cases.
Certified in collaborative law by the Collaborative Law Institute of Georgia, Ms. Waggoner is a compassionate lawyer with a vast knowledge of family law. Outside of work, she serves as a guest lecturer on family law topics and as a volunteer at the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, offering legal help to individuals from low-income backgrounds in domestic relations matters.
A bachelor’s graduate from Maryville College, Ms. Waggoner studied at the Georgia State University College of Law, earning her Juris Doctor in 1995. During law school, she was the articles editor of the Georgia State University Law Review and recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for litigation.
Ms. Waggoner is licensed to practice in all the state courts of Georgia and Tennessee. She is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court.
