Andrew J. King is a wrongful death and catastrophic injury trial attorney with a robust practice that includes representing individuals who have been seriously injured and families who have lost loved ones due to negligence. Working with Chance, Forlines, Carter & King, PC, at their Atlanta office in Georgia, his areas of practice encompass nursing home abuse and neglect, automobile accidents, trucking incidents, medical malpractice and premises liability cases.
Mr. King is a proud “Double Dawg,” having earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia. His academic journey was marked by significant achievements, including his involvement in multiple moot court teams that traveled nationwide to represent his school. Additionally, he served as the treasurer and secretary of the UGA moot court team and was the notes editor for UGA’s Journal of Intellectual Property Law. During his time in law school, he had the privilege of clerking for and drafting opinions in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and the Superior Court of Athens-Clarke County.
Before transitioning to plaintiff representation, Mr. King spent numerous years defending companies, physicians, hospitals, nurses, nursing homes, dentists, psychotherapists and other medical providers in complex medical malpractice cases. He left his partnership with an AmLaw 200 law firm to follow his passion for advocating for injured persons and the families of those who have been harmed.
Mr. King’s commitment to the legal profession extends beyond his practice. He is an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
