A respected criminal defense attorney known throughout Georgia for his high ethical standards and unwavering dedication to his clients’ cases, Brandon A. Bullard has a stirring reputation as an effective appellate attorney, helping individuals with issues involving criminal appeals, sentence modification, expungement, probation violation, clemency and more. The founder and principal attorney of The Bullard Firm, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, he represents clients throughout the state and uses the resources and manpower at his disposal to conduct diligent research to ensure their clients get the quality advocacy they deserve.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Bullard spent a considerable part of his career working as a public defender, getting his start at the Macon Judicial Circuit Public Defender’s Office, and working his way up, eventually landing the role of Director of the Georgia Public Defender Council. His expansive experience working for the state makes him the prime candidate to challenge its rulings; he knows the ins and outs of the Georgia legal system and has practiced law in every Georgia county.

After graduating in 2002 from the University of Georgia with his Bachelor of Music degree, Mr. Bullard attended the Emory University School of Law, where he honed his legal acumen by enhancing his knowledge of the law. He received his Juris Doctor and his license to practice in Georgia in 2007.

Always keen to help bring awareness to many different areas of criminal appellate law, Mr. Bullard conducts speaking engagements and panel discussions across various platforms, including the Augusta Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Georgia Public Defender Council. For his tireless efforts in creating a pristine client-centric environment as well as raising the service standards of his industry, he is rated a perfect “10.0” on Avvo and hosts positive client testimonials on the site as well.

Within his legal community, Mr. Bullard stays actively involved in many prominent legal organizations such as the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (vice chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee).
