Brooke M. French is a founding partner and attorney at Kaye, Lembeck, Hitt & French Family Law, located in Atlanta, Georgia. She focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, post-divorce modification and enforcement, family violence, paternity, prenuptial agreements and so on. 

Ms. French is a trained guardian ad litem, and has completed 100 hours of divorce and family mediation and civil mediation training. She is also registered as a neutral by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. With a special concentration on providing protection for children and helping them maintain stability in their lives, Ms. French is a compassionate and zealous advocate for them. She fights aggressively for her clients’ rights and liberties, with an unwavering commitment to their needs and wants. 

Ms. French has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Union College with a major in political science and Spanish and graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Emory University School of Law. While in law school, she was the recipient of the Order of the Barrister honors. 

Enthusiastically involved in the legal field, Ms. French has been elected to serve as a member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s board of directors, has been repeatedly selected to serve as the Chair of the Atlanta Bar Association Membership Committee and the Atlanta Bar Association and the Law Student Outreach Committee, and serves as a member of The Atlanta Lawyer magazine’s Editorial Board. Ms. French also served on the CLE Board of Trustees of the Atlanta Bar Association for many years.

Ms. French is the president of the Charles Longstreet Weltner Inn of Court for 2022 - 2024 after serving as the Vice Chair for 2 years and prior to that serving as the treasurer for two years. Ms. French has been a barrister in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Inn of Court since 2014. 

Ms. French has written extensively, and her work has been published on prominent platforms. She has presented at numerous seminars on various family law topics. 

Ms. French was the recipient of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Distinguished Service Award, Georgia Trend Legal Elite and Top 40 Family Lawyer Under 40 in Georgia, and has an Avvo rating of 10.0. She was also awarded Avvo’s Clients’ Choice Award in 2015.
