Details
The founder of The Brice Law Firm, Cale Brice divides her practice between personal injury and wrongful death litigation and workers' compensation matters. From the firm's office in Marietta, Georgia, she represents clients in Cobb County, throughout the greater Atlanta metropolitan area, and across the state. Ms. Brice has been admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts since 2011.
Ms. Brice provides dedicated and compassionate representation to people who have incurred economic and noneconomic losses due to the negligence or recklessness of other persons or entities. The types of cases that she has handled in this regard during her career have arisen out of incidents involving slips, falls and other forms of premises liability, along with truck, automobile and other motor vehicle accidents. Ms. Brice has been able to obtain significant compensation for her plaintiff clients, both through jury awards and negotiated settlements.
In her workers' compensation practice, Ms. Brice assists clients who have been injured on the job and who are seeking their rightful benefits under their employer's insurance coverage. These benefits, which can include the furnishing of medical care as well as, in some cases, a portion of wages lost during the recovery period, are generally provided regardless of fault. However, many employers and their companies will often arbitrarily delay or deny a claim, and in such an event, Ms. Brice will provide advocacy during subsequent appeals hearings.
As an undergraduate, Ms. Brice attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where she majored in American government and politics and received a bachelor's degree in 2004. She subsequently decided to pursue a legal education and enrolled at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where she clerked for an administrative judge on the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission before obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2010.
