Daniel A. Bloom is an attorney at the law firm of Richardson Bloom & Lines LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Bloom devotes his practice to family law and serves clients throughout Atlanta. Mr. Bloom regularly serves as guardian ad litem in the Georgia superior court system. He is a former deputy director of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. In this role, he created the foundation’s domestic violence project, supported volunteers and oversaw the guardian ad litem program. He is also a former magistrate judge in the family division of the Fulton County Superior Court.

Active in his legal community, Mr. Bloom writes and speaks on family law issues for groups including the Atlanta Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He belongs to the family law sections of the organizations and is an active member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

Community involvement is very important to Mr. Bloom. He is a member of the advisory board of the Emory Public Interest Committee at Emory Law and the Health Law Partnership at Atlanta Legal Aid.

Mr. Bloom received his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and earned his law degree from Emory Law. He obtained his license to practice law in 1995, which made him eligible to practice before all Georgia state courts.
