David A. Stevens

David A. Stevens serves as a managing partner at Stevens & Sullivan, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he offers legal counsel to veterans and individuals navigating challenging federal benefits systems. His practice is devoted primarily to veterans disability law, veterans benefits, appellate advocacy and Social Security matters, with a dedication to representing clients in high-stakes administrative and court proceedings.

Mr. Stevens graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University in 1996. Later, he went on to pursue his legal studies at the Georgia State University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2002. In that same year, he was licensed to practice law in Georgia, marking the beginning of a career dedicated to public service-related legal practice.

With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Stevens is highly recognized in the veterans disability law community. He is known for his diligent and client-centric advocacy approach. He frequently assists veterans seeking disability compensation and other benefits they have earned through their service, guiding them through claims, appeals and litigation at both the administrative and appellate levels.

Mr. Stevens is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, allowing him to represent veterans before the Veterans Affairs. Additionally, he is a member of the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates, an association committed to improving the quality of representation for veterans nationwide.
