Serving clients across Georgia in matters of family law, David G. Sarif provides strategic counsel with an unwavering commitment to his clients. Working from Naggiar & Sarif, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, he stays dedicated to assisting clients through a broad range of family law concerns, including divorce, child custody, alimony, visitation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and alternative dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.
Before pursuing a degree in law, Mr. Sarif completed his undergraduate studies in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin. He then enrolled at Georgia State University College of Law, where he gained his Juris Doctor in 2001. Later in 2004, he earned his license to practice law in Georgia. Ever since, he has focused his practice on helping families in times of need. Outside of his litigation practice, he served as an adjunct professor, teaching family law at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School.
Additionally, licensed to practice law before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia, Mr. Sarif also provides advocacy for his clients at higher levels. As a family law attorney, he understands the effects of family law litigation on a client and their family. To ensure his client’s needs are met, he approaches each case with a solution-oriented approach, helping him to easily navigate through litigation, negotiation or mediation processes. He is a certified mediator and arbitrator and also serves as a guardian ad litem in contested custody cases.
An active member of the legal community, Mr. Sarif is a member of the American Bar Association, where he previously served as the co-chair of the Marital Property Committee and the chair of the Trial Practice and Techniques Committee. He was also the past chairman of the Association’s Custody Committee. He maintains a “Superb” rating on Avvo, which stands as a testament to his commitment to providing quality legal services.
