Based in Atlanta, he represents people and businesses throughout Georgia, the state where he was born and raised.

Mr. DeLoach majored in journalism at the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1974. He subsequently returned to the Athens campus for his legal studies at the University of Georgia School of Law, and after spending one year there, he transferred to Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. In 1981, Mr. DeLoach was awarded his Juris Doctor with distinction and inducted into the Order of the Coif. Admitted to practice in Georgia since 1981, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 3rd, 5th, 6th, and 11th Circuits.

In his estate planning practice, Mr. DeLoach prepares and reviews wills, a variety of living and irrevocable trusts, advance medical directives, and financial powers of attorney, all with the goals of preserving and protecting the particular client’s assets and reflecting the client’s needs and objectives. He also has extensive experience in estate and trust administration, providing representation to executors, trustees, and court-appointed fiduciaries. Mr. DeLoach’s practice has also encompassed business formation and tax planning. His professional memberships include the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Fiduciary Law and Taxation sections of the State Bar of Georgia.
