Donna-Marie Hayle

Donna-Marie Hayle is a partner at Files Hayle LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, and serves clients across the state in pressing and strenuous family law matters, such as divorce, child custody and support, father’s rights, alimony and more. Additionally, she is also equipped to handle legal issues surrounding legal malpractice as well as general litigation for her business clients. She is a certified mediator and serves as a neutral in civil litigation and family law matters, and in cases pertaining to representing the rights of people who cannot make decisions for themselves, she serves as a deft guardian ad litem.

Ms. Hayle completed her undergraduate studies in 2009, graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in advertising from Florida State University. Soon after, she enrolled in the University of Florida Levin College of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 2012, along with a certificate in family law. During her time at law school, she spent considerable time abroad at the University of Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africa, where she studied comparative law. She obtained her license to practice in Georgia in 2013 and later in Florida. Moreover, she is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Georgia.

To bolster her shrewd legal acumen and create a solid foundation of legal and practical knowledge, Ms. Hayle interned at many important organizations, including the University of Florida Juvenile Legal Clinic, Children’s Legal Services (Gainesville, Florida) and the attorney general’s office in Jacksonville, Florida. She uses the insights she has gained from government organizations and the local judiciary to help her clients achieve their goals. Within her legal community, Ms. Hayle maintains close affiliations with prominent legal organizations such as the State Bar of Georgia (Family Law Section), the Stonewall Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association (Family Law Section) and the DeKalb Bar Association (Family Law Section). In addition, she is a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and The Florida Bar. With a penchant for learning, she completed the State Bar of Georgia’s Leadership Academy in 2020 and is part of the organization’s Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy.
