Edward T.M. Garland

Attorney Edward T.M. Garland is a partner with the law firm of Garland, Samuel & Loeb, P.C., based in Atlanta, Georgia. Serving clients throughout the greater Atlanta metro region and the surrounding counties of North Georgia, Mr. Garland focuses his practice on criminal defense and appeals, with a particular emphasis on federal and white collar crimes. He also handles all types of plaintiff personal claims, including those resulting from medical malpractice, trucking accidents, premises liability accidents and defective products.

An attorney for more than 54 years, Mr. Garland earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 1963 and his bachelor's degree in law (LL.B.) from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1965.

The State Bar of Georgia admitted him to practice in 1964, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 5th and 11th Circuits, the U.S. Supreme Court, and both the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

He is also a former vice president for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and a former chairman for the University of Georgia School of Law Board of Visitors.
