James A. Goldstein

Jim Goldstein is the founding attorney at Goldstein & Hayes, P.C., in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Goldstein concentrates his practice on personal injury law, serving clients throughout the state of Georgia who have sustained or lost a loved one due to a catastrophic injury.

Mr. Goldstein has more than 35 years of experience practicing in areas, including automobile negligence, birth injuries, brain injuries, land and water contamination, plaintiff’s personal injury, products liability, sexual assault, spinal cord injuries, swimming pool drowning/entrapment, trucking negligence and wrongful death.

During his career, Mr. Goldstein has successfully achieved settlements and verdicts worth millions of dollars, resulting in his inclusion in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Entities such as the American Society of Legal Advocates, the American Association for Justice, Fortune magazine and The National Trial Lawyers have also presented him with honors or awards.

Before founding Goldstein & Hayes, P.C., Mr. Goldstein worked for a firm representing corporations and banks. After also gaining experience representing Fulton County, Georgia, in various wrongful death matters, he chose to focus his practice on representing personal injury victims.

An active member of the legal community, Mr. Goldstein is a member of numerous organizations. Some of these include the Atlanta Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.

Mr. Goldstein graduated cum laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York, with a bachelor’s degree. He earned his law degree from Atlanta’s Emory University School of Law. He is qualified to appear before all Georgia state courts and several federal courts, including the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Supreme Court of the United States.
