Janet C. Scott

An associate at Seay/Felton LLC, Janet C. Scott focuses her practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Born and raised in Atlanta, Ms. Scott attended Spelman College as an undergraduate, where she majored in history and received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1995. After obtaining a Master of Arts in education from Mercer University in 1998, she taught middle school students in DeKalb County before she subsequently decided to pursue a legal education at Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. After being awarded her Juris Doctor in 2006, Ms. Scott gained significant litigation experience at area law firms before joining Seay/Felton LLC in 2019. She is a past president of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and is active in other professional groups as well.
