Jennifer is one of only twelve attorneys in the state of Georgia (and less than 500 nationwide) who has proven the enhanced knowledge, skills, experience, and proficiency to be properly identified to the public as a certified elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). She has also been named a Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers for consecutive years since 2022.

Mrs. Ghorley received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and she obtained both her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Faulkner University's Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama, where she was an active participant in her law school's Elder Law Clinic. She holds her certification in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Mrs. Ghorley is also committed to serving her community through volunteer work. She was recognized as a Public Interest Fellow by her law school, and she continues her volunteer work as an active member of the Service League of Cherokee County, where she has committed to a ten-year service requirement and serves on the Executive Board.
