Jody A. Miller

Jody A. Miller is the owner and attorney at Jody A. Miller, Esq. Attorney At Law, which has its offices in Atlanta, Georgia. She represents clients with family law matters involving matters such as divorce, child custody and support, adoption, paternity, modifications, alimony, visitation, family violence, delinquency, deprivation and termination of parental rights. She handles cases through litigation, mediation, and collaborative law. 

With a “Very Good” rating on Avvo, Ms. Miller provides zealous representation, tireless advocacy and personalized strategies for her clients. She understands the sensitive nature of family law matters and handles all her cases empathetically, both inside and outside the courtroom. 

With an English and history major, Ms. Miller graduated with her bachelor’s degree at Emory University. She pursued her master’s degree in information systems from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. She went on to pursue law at the Mercer University - Walter F. George School of Law, earning her Juris Doctor dean’s list honors in 1992. While in law school, she was listed on the Who’s Who Among American Law Students. 

Ms. Miller is actively affiliated with legal associations through his memberships in the State Bar of Georgia and the Cobb County Bar Association. In addition, she is a Master at the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inns of Court. 

Licensed to practice in Georgia, Ms. Miller is also admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Supreme Court. A firm believer in giving back to society, she is an enthusiastic participant in her community. She is a member of the Vinings Business Association, the Marietta Business Association and the West Cobb Business Association. She also regularly speaks at many continuing legal education programs.
