Details
John G. Winkenwerder, Jr. is the senior Trial Lawyer at H Groves Law, LLC and a tireless advocate for those who have been injured by the negligence of others. Areas of practice include automobile accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and virtually all types of cases involving injury.
Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, John received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business. Administration from the University of South Carolina and graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law.
Prior to joining H Groves Law, John worked for one of Atlanta’s most revered defense firms. There, he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies against claims arising from tractor-trailer accidents, automobile accidents, professional negligence, and defective products. However, he left this position after realizing that working with individuals and their families was much more fulfilling. Through his prior experience, John gained an intimate understanding about how corporations defend lawsuits and how their insurance companies value claims. This gives him a unique strategic advantage that he uses to battle these companies when he fights them on behalf of his clients, allowing him to get the best result possible.
In his spare time, John enjoys running, playing sports, and watching South Carolina football. He currently lives in Smyrna, Georgia with his wife, Jennifer, and daughter, Lucienne.
