Born in Columbus, Georgia, Ms. Gaddis pursued her academic journey at the University of Georgia, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991. She continued her education at the University of Georgia School of Law, graduating cum laude with a Juris Doctor in 1996, the same year she was admitted to practice law in Georgia. During her time in law school, she contributed as a Board Member and had an article published in the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law Review. 

A prolific speaker and writer, Ms. Gaddis is frequently invited to present at both local and national conferences and to author articles on topics related to community associations. Her active involvement in the Georgia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) includes serving as the Chair of the Program Committee in 2005 and serving as that Committee's Secretary from 2001 to 2004. She also served on the Golf Committee helping to raise funds for CAI and local charities.  Ms. Gaddis' contributions to CAI were recognized by the CAI-Georgia Chapter when she was honored with the CAI Rising Star Award in 2003.

Ms. Gaddis' leadership extends to the Atlanta Bar Association’s Real Estate Section, served as Chair of the  Real Estate Section in 2010-2011 and in that year under her leadership the Real Estate Section was awarded with the Large Section of the Year Award by the Atlanta bar Association.  Ms. Gaddis served on the Real Estate Section's Board of Directors for many years serving as Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer as well.
