Laine S. Posel

At Schwartz Posel Immigration Law Group in Atlanta, Georgia, Laine S. Ms. Posel's contributions to the field extend well beyond client representation. She previously served as an assistant adjunct professor of immigration law at Emory University School of Law, shaping the next generation of legal minds. She remains an active and engaged member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where her leadership included chairing the Atlanta AILA USCIS Committee from 2012 to 2013 and serving on the national USCIS Liaison Committee from 2010 to 2011. She also devotes her time to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), supporting its mission to combat hatred and discrimination.

An academic scholar, Ms. Posel earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2000, following a B.A. with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin in 1996. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Before joining Schwartz Posel Immigration Law Group, Ms. Posel sharpened her litigation skills as an attorney in the labor and employment section of a labor and employment practice in Washington, D.C., office.
