Laura Johnson Bailey

Serving as the director of litigation at Mabra Law, Warner Robins, Georgia, attorney Laura Johnson Bailey has more than 17 years of professional legal experience. Extending her practice to regions throughout Georgia, with an emphasis on the Atlanta metropolitan area, she majorly focuses her practice on personal injury cases. She has experience defending clients in cases of workers’ compensation, employment discrimination, premises liability, automobile wrecks, catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. 

Ms. Bailey’s tenure with several big firms provided her with a deep understanding of civil litigation and an insider’s perspective on case evaluation and defense strategies. In 2017, she made a pivotal shift in her career path by representing plaintiffs at one of the nation’s largest personal injury law firms, advocating for individuals harmed by negligence. Her commitment to justice and client-centered service led her to join Mabra Law in 2020. At Mabra, she continues her practice in civil litigation, bringing with her a wealth of courtroom experience, having conducted over 70 jury trials and secured six published appellate opinions.

Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Ms. Bailey pursued her undergraduate studies at The University of Alabama, where she was recognized with the Criminal Justice Chairperson’s Award of Merit for her role in organizing a campus-wide criminal justice career fair. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, receiving a certificate for distinguished pro bono service. Her legal education was further enriched by earning a certificate of comparative international law from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.

Ms. Bailey is admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Her professional affiliations include the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta. Committed to community service, she supports philanthropic efforts such as Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue and Canine Pet Rescue, reflecting her dedication to both her profession and her community.
