Attorney Profile

Trial attorney Marc Howard devotes his practice exclusively to helping those who suffered an injury or loss as the result of someone else's negligence or wrongdoing and to securing the maximum amount of compensation they deserve.

Prior to focusing on plaintiff personal injury claims, Mr. Howard represented insurance companies, trucking companies, airlines and other corporations during complex, high-stakes liability litigation. As such, he understands the tactics insurance providers and defendant companies use to deny culpability in an effort to circumvent accountability, which makes him all the more effective as he aggressively pursues the most favorable outcomes possible for his plaintiff clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Howard has helped recover millions of dollars in settlements and awards for those he has served. In recognition for his impeccable professionalism and success, he has earned numerous awards and honors. In 2009, Georgia Trend Magazine voted him among the state's "Legal Elite," and Jezebel Magazine named him as a "Lawyer of Distinction." The National Trial Lawyers also voted him among the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in the country, and he holds top ratings from Avvo as well as an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell.

As further evidence of his reputation and leadership abilities, Mr. Howard was voted to serve on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors, and he has testified before the Georgia General Assembly on a variety of issues, including attorney conduct, legal reform and more. Mr. Howard also routinely conducts lectures and seminars across his region, and he serves on several committees with the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

He is also a member of the American Association for Justice and the Atlanta Bar Association, among his numerous other professional affiliations, and he serves as chairman of the Civil Justice Political Action Committee.

Mr. Howard obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1993, and he holds his license to practice in Georgia and Virginia.

*AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
