Attorney Mia Frieder is a partner at Hilley & Frieder, P.C., with a practice focused on fighting for clients who have been injured by or lost loved ones because of medical mistakes and other negligent or careless acts. Ms. Frieder believes that in personal injury cases, justice involves full and fair compensation that covers all of her clients' damages, and that is her goal in each case she takes.
This approach has resulted in six- and seven-figure verdicts and settlements for her clients and has also garnered her many professional awards and honors, such as membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. For her commitment to clients, high ethical standards and strong legal skills, Ms. Frieder has received the highest peer rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell. She has also been named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from the University of Florida, Ms. Frieder graduated from Emory University School of Law in 1991 with her Juris Doctor. She then became licensed to practice in all Georgia state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Ms. Frieder's professional memberships include the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the DeKalb Bar Association and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
