With nearly four decades of experience, Michael B. Terry has been at the forefront of changing legal trends within his legal community, co-opting what works for his clients into his repertoire to maximize his judicious advocacy. At the law office of Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore, LLP, in Atlanta, Georgia, he serves residents throughout the surrounding region and beyond in matters pertaining to high-stakes class actions, including products liability and the RICO Act, as well as appellate cases.
Mr. Terry completed his undergraduate studies in 1982, graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia and went on to attend the University of Georgia School of Law. During his time in law school, he strengthened his legal foundation and talents with the foresight of helping clients in the future. He received his Juris Doctor in 1987, as well as his license to practice law in Georgia.
A pillar of leadership in his legal community, Mr. Terry has held leadership positions in numerous legal organizations of prominence, including the following:
- The Atlanta Bar Association (ABA) – Past president; past member of the Executive Committee; past chair of the Litigation Section; past chair of the Judicial Campaign Conduct Committee
- The Lawyers Foundation of Georgia – Sustaining member

He has also been recognized by the State Bar of Georgia and the Council of State Court Judges through the Tradition of Excellence Award and the Guardian of Justice Award. Furthermore, he has been the recipient of the Charles Watkins Award by the ABA and named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers on numerous occasions.
Mr. Terry currently holds memberships in the ABA, the GTLA, the American Constitution Society, the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the American Association for Justice. His shrewd legal acumen has been noticed by the Supreme Court of Georgia, where he was appointed a member of the Standing Committee on the Unauthorized Practice of Law and past chair of the Emergency Management Committee.
