Mr. Tyrone received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the University of Georgia Law School, with honors. Before opening his own practice he was associated with nationally recognized firms in the areas of criminal defense (Garland, Samuel & Loeb, P.C.) and auto products liability (Butler, Wooten).

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Tyrone is member of the senior teaching staff of The Trial Lawyer's College in Dubois, Wyoming. He has been a guest lecturer on trial strategy and tactics throughout the United States.  He is a founding member of the Red Clay Democrats of Georgia and is a member of the board of Covenant Community, a residential treatment home for men suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. Nelson is married to Leslie Katharine Tyrone, a brilliant residential architect in Atlanta, Georgia. Nelson has two daughters, McGowan and Munday who he loves very much.

  • (2001 - 201) Senior Staff Member, Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer's College, Dubois, Wyoming: In 2001 I was selected as a Staff Member of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College in Dubois, Wyoming.  The purpose of the trial college is to teach hands-on trial skills for every part of the trial - from "discovering the story" to Voir Dire, Opening, Direct, Cross and Closing.  Our students are Personal Injury Lawyers, Criminal Defense Lawyers, Discrimination, Civil Rights and Consumer Rights lawyers. I have been an active member of the staff of the Trial Lawyer's College since 2001.  The Trial Lawyer's college conducts a 21 day trial skills "college" in July and October every year. It conducts two one - week graduate programns (for graduates of the college) and conducts ten four -day seminars throughout the country.  In my current staff position with the college, I train other staff members on the TLC method. I also maintain a teaching commintment of roughly 25-30 full days of teaching between the college, graduate programs and seminars., 2001
