Richard E. Dolder

A partner at Slappey & Sadd LLC, Richard E. Dolder focuses his practice exclusively on insurance bad faith and other coverage issues. Based in the firm's office in Atlanta, Georgia, he provides astute representation to business and individual policyholders throughout the state whose claims have been delayed, challenged or denied by their insurers. Although many of these matters end up in court, Mr. Dolder also works with clients to obtain their rightful benefits through negotiations, and he additionally assists clients who are being examined under oath by their insurers. He is admitted to practice before all Georgia and Florida state courts.

Mr. Dolder has achieved favorable outcomes in numerous instances. After majoring in journalism at the University of Florida and receiving a Bachelor of Science in 1986, Mr. Dolder spent several years working in his chosen field before deciding to pursue a legal education. He then enrolled at what was then known as the University of Florida College of Law, and he was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1998, graduating at the top of his class. Mr. Dolder's first legal job was with an international law firm, where he represented Lloyd's of London underwriters before moving to a firm that assisted large companies in disputes with their insurers. His professional memberships include the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
