At Hilley & Frieder, P.C., in Atlanta, Georgia, partner Ronald L. Hilley has dedicated his career to helping injured people obtain the compensation that should be theirs by law. He does this by listening to clients' stories, uncovering details about the circumstances that led to their harm, and developing a strategy that demonstrates the negligence of others and the damages that are the result.
The many six- and seven-figure verdicts and settlements Mr. Hilley's clients have received are a testament to the commitment he and his team have to seek justice after negligent accidents involving motor vehicle collisions, dangerous property conditions, medical mistakes, swimming pool incidents, animal attacks and nursing home neglect, to name a few. He also handles wrongful death cases.
Mr. Hilley represents employees in workers' compensation cases, as well. He helps workers to file claims and appeal denials, as well as hold negligent third parties liable when there is a matter such as faulty equipment or a motor vehicle collision that injures an employee on the job.
After earning his Bachelor of Arts at Emory University, Mr. Hilley then attended Emory University School of Law, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1976. He has spent the last 45 years working to keep insurance companies from withholding compensation from his clients by way of low settlements and unfair negotiations.
