With nearly 25 years of experience, Salmeh K. Fodor has helped her clients navigate the complex legalities associated with family law, striving to provide respite to their situation so they can rebuild a brighter future for themselves. She is the partner and co-founder of KF Law, LLC, in Atlanta, Georgia, and handles matters pertaining to divorce and separation, alimony, child custody and support, pre- and postnuptial agreements, division of property, and more. She serves the residents of Cobb, Fayette, Gwinnett and Fulton counties and the surrounding regions.
Ms. Fodor graduated cum laude in 1991 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and political science from The Ohio State University. After working as a financial adviser for five years, she decided to pursue her passion for helping others when they need it most. She attended the University of Georgia School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 1998, and in the same year, obtained her license to practice in Arizona. In 2004, she became licensed to practice in Georgia.
During her time in law school, Ms. Fodor completed two internships at the Arizona Public Defender’s Office and the Arizona Corporation Commission – Securities Division. Furthermore, she went on to clerk for the United States Securities Exchange Commission – Enforcement Division and the Honorable Judge Marvin Shoob of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Through hard work, commitment and diligence, Ms. Fodor gained the adulation of her peers and many prestigious legal organizations, including the American Society of Legal Advocates (Top 100 Attorneys) and the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys (10 Best Attorneys). Additionally, she is rated a perfect “10.0” on Avvo and hosts many positive client testimonials on the site as well.
Outside her law practice, Ms. Fodor is an active participant in her legal community, with memberships in organizations such as the State Bar of Georgia, the Cobb County Bar Association and the State Bar of Arizona. She has also served important roles in various organizations, including as chair of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) and director of the GAWL Foundation, Inc. Other notable roles include serving as vice president and treasurer of the Sandy Springs Bar Association, chair of the GAWL Leadership Academy and director of the Atlanta Bar Association and chair of its International Law Section.
