As one of the founding figures and managing attorney at Zambrano Law in Atlanta, Georgia, Shirley Zambrano has crafted a dynamic practice centered around immigration law. She offers steadfast support to individuals and families as they navigate intricate legal pathways, including:
• Deportation defense
• Asylum claims
• Family petitions
• Waivers and employment visas
Ms. Zambrano’s adeptness has led to successful visa and green card acquisitions for Grammy-nominated Latin music artists, managers, athletes, models and other individuals of remarkable talent. She also handles personal injury law. She extends her advocacy to immigrants who have been injured in car accidents, championing their right to compensation and justice, irrespective of their immigration status. Her dual proficiency in immigration and personal injury law positions her as a pivotal ally for clients facing multifaceted legal challenges.
Hailing from Ecuador and drawing from her own immigrant experience, Ms. Zambrano possesses a profound empathy for the arduous hurdles imposed by the nation's complex – and occasionally unforgiving – immigration system. She earned her J.D. with top honors, graduating magna cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law.
During her time in law school, Ms. Zambrano honed her legal acumen as a clerk for the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Florida, as well as an intern for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida, contributing to the prosecution of significant federal cases.
Since obtaining her license in the State Bar of Georgia in 2014, Ms. Zambrano has been authorized to practice immigration law across all 50 states and has been admitted to the Supreme Court of Georgia, various U.S. District Courts in Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. An upstanding figure in the legal sphere, she is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Ms. Zambrano’s insightful leadership has garnered attention from prominent media such as the HuffPost, WSB-TV Atlanta, CBS46 Atlanta, Univision and Telemundo. She frequently shares her perspectives at legal and immigration conferences nationwide. Additionally, she holds a "Superb" rating on Avvo.
