Currently a Georgia state representative and on the committees of Appropriations, Judiciary and Retirement, Ms. Evans represents House District 57 and is serving her second term in The Georgia General Assembly. In addition, she takes an active role in the legal community and is on the Board of Directors for The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential and the UGA School of Law Board of Visitors. She is also a master at the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court.
Among the many wins Ms. Evans has secured for her clients is a $495 million settlement in a case against a major dialysis clinic chain; that was the largest nonintervened whistleblower case in the history of Medicare fraud cases. Owing to her remarkable client service and dedicated representation, she has been showered with acclaim and recognition across the state, including:
