Steven I. Goldman

Focusing his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, Steven I. Goldman is the founder of The Goldman Firm that is based in Atlanta, Georgia. He provides advice and counsel to people throughout the metropolitan area who have been harmed by the negligence or recklessness of other persons or entities, and the types of cases that he has handled have arisen out of nursing home negligence, pedestrian knockdowns, truck and other motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, defective products, boating accidents, and animal bites.

During his career, Mr. Goldman has been able to obtain numerous sizable settlements and jury awards on behalf of his plaintiff clients, some of his representative results have included a $4.872 million jury verdict in a case involving a fatal shooting of a tow truck driver and a $600,000 settlement for a pedestrian who was hit by a car. Admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts, Mr. Goldman is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

Mr. Goldman majored in political science at Emory University in Atlanta, and he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1982. Remaining on campus, he pursued his legal education at Emory University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1986. Mr. Goldman began his career providing defense representation to companies involved in labor and employment law litigation, but he switched his focus and opened his own firm in 1989. His professional affiliations include the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
