Todd K. Maziar

Workers’ compensation attorney Todd K. Maziar is of counsel at Stottlemyer & Associates, LLC, located in Atlanta, GA.  He represents employees who have sustained job injuries while working for Georgia employers. As a mediator, Mr. Maziar also assists counsel for employees and employer/insurers in reaching favorable resolutions of pending workers' compensation claims.

After earning a B.A. degree at Vanderbilt University, Mr. Maziar attended Emory University School of Law. He received his J.D. degree from Emory in 1981.

Mr. Maziar has held many leadership roles in the legal community over the past four decades. He is currently serving as Chair of the Rules Committee of the Chairman's Advisory Council of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation. He is a long-time member (and past president) of the Georgia Legal Foundation, a nonprofit organization offering amicus curiae brief writing assistance to workers' compensation claimant lawyers throughout the state. He is on the board of directors of the Workers’ Compensation Claimant’s Lawyers Section (WCCL) of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and also maintains a professional membership in the Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group (WILG).

In 2018, Mr. Maziar was inducted into The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers.  

Mr. Maziar has personally handled and resolved many hundreds of workers’ compensation claims. He has authored briefs in support of injured workers in more than fifteen cases accepted by the Georgia Court of Appeals via the discretionary appeals process, and he continues to provide appeals assistance to Georgia lawyers upon request.
