William M. Cummings II is a workers' compensation trial lawyer. Mr. Cummings, a native of Cedartown, Georgia, graduated from Auburn University and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University. He began his legal career as a law clerk for the Houston Judicial Circuit (Perry, Georgia) serving under the Honorable Judges George F. Nunn, Jr., L.A. McConnell, Jr., and Edward D. Lukemire.  Subsequently, Mr. Cummings worked as a Staff Attorney for the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation, during which time he obtained certification as a mediator and performed numerous mediations involving a variety of workers' compensation issues.  Mr. Cummings then joined a prestigious law firm in Atlanta where he focused his practice on Workers' Compensation.  During his tenure, he published numerous articles in the firm's client journal, and served as a faculty member for Lorman Educational Services and the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation Annual Seminar in Atlanta.  Mr. Cummings then opened his firm in 2005 to focus solely on the representation of injured workers.  He has extensive trial and mediation experience before the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation.  Mr. Cummings is admitted to practice law in all Georgia state courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
