Bryan S. Hawkins

The owner of his eponymous law firm, Bryan S. Hawkins focuses his practice exclusively on workers' compensation matters. From the firm's office in Augusta, Georgia, he provides representation to clients throughout the greater metropolitan area. Admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts since 2006, Mr. Hawkins is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia.

In his practice, Mr. Hawkins represents people who have been injured on the job or who have incurred an occupational disease and who are seeking their rightful benefits under their employer's workers' compensation insurance coverage. When their claims have been disputed or denied by the insurance company, he appears on their behalf before the State Board of Workers' Compensation, and he has been able to obtain positive results and maximum awards for his clients. Prior to become a claimants' attorney, Mr. Hawkins spent several years defending insurance companies in workers' compensation matters, and this experience has often enabled him to anticipate the surveillance and other tactics that insurers routinely employ. As an undergraduate, Mr. Hawkins attended the University of Georgia, where he majored in political science and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. He then went on to pursue his legal education at Mississippi College School of Law, and he was the vice chairman of the school's Moot Court Board before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2006. Mr. Hawkins is a member of the Workers' Compensation Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and other professional groups.
