Evan A. Watson

Evan A. Watson is an attorney at Zeliff | Watson, LLC, in Cumming, Georgia, where he devotes his practice to criminal defense. Representing clients throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area, Mr. Watson handles cases involving DUI, drug charges, sex offenses, and other misdemeanors and felonies.

Mr. Watson has spent over a decade defending Georgia residents who are facing criminal charges. He is a knowledgeable and experienced advocate, and is committed to fighting for the rights of his clients. Recognizing his significant accomplishments, The National Trial Lawyers named him one of the “top 100” trial lawyers.

Mr. Watson possesses substantial training in various areas of criminal defense law. He is a graduate of the Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program through the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has taken several classes through the National College for DUI Defense. He is trained in forensic alcohol consulting and in the Intoxilyzer 9000 breath testing device. He has also taken part in the Defense of Drinking Drivers Institute through the State Bar of Georgia.

Engaged in the criminal defense legal community, Mr. Watson served as president of the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers Association and on the Forsyth County Tripartite Committee. He is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Watson earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He received his law degree from Charleston School of Law. He is qualified to appear before all Georgia state courts.
