Details
Representing clients in the Atlanta, Georgia, metropolitan area, Joanna B. Delfunt is an immigration attorney with Delfunt Law Firm. With a desire to bring clarity and hope to immigrants and their families as they go through extremely stressful times, she handles naturalization, representation in removal proceedings and family based immigration. She also represents immigrants who have been victims of criminal acts who may not find justice without the help of a qualified attorney.
In 2012, she graduated with her Juris Doctor from the Regent University School of Law. Ms. Delfunt is admitted to practice in Georgia and, before opening her own firm, worked for two larger firms and handled personal injury, workers’ compensation and immigration cases.
While in law school, Ms. Delfunt was able to provide aftercare services with an organization that works for victims of sex trafficking in Cambodia. As many of those victims were brought to the United States from the countries they were trafficked through, she realized the unique need that many have for immigration services. Her compassion and belief in the rights of all human beings set her apart from other immigration attorneys.
Ms. Delfunt represents clients before Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Atlanta Immigration Court. Her firm also handles matters related to green card applications and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). With a career focused on relief for those who have been through extremely harrowing experiences, she is committed to improving the lives of those around her.
