Mr. Tallant first forayed into the field of law while studying at the University of Georgia School of Law, where his academic prowess and knowledge culminated in him receiving his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 2002. After completing law school, he went on to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas W. Thrash of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, providing immense exposure to the inner workings of a federal court before which he would one day gain admission to practice law. Prior to attending law school, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1998 with his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a minor in Spanish.

He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
