The founding partner of his eponymous law firm in Dublin, Georgia, J. Chase Wilson is a fervent advocate for his clients in the Atlanta and Macon metropolitan areas, as well as Laurens County. He handles complex legal matters related to family law, including divorce, child custody and support, alimony, legitimization, paternity, equitable division of property and juvenile court proceedings. Moreover, he serves as guardian ad litem as an expert in disputed child custody cases.
Prior to founding J. Chase Wilson Law, LLC, Mr. Wilson has had nearly a decade of experience working for a plethora of prestigious law firms, honing his craft and gaining a mass of exposure in Georgia state courts. He has also spent that time relentlessly researching and analyzing different avenues that provide his clients with an effective chance for an amicable resolution.
Mr. Wilson completed his undergraduate studies in 2007 from Emory University, graduating with his Bachelor of Science degree in political science. He later attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University and received his Juris Doctor in 2010. He received his license to practice in Georgia the same year he graduated law school. That same year, he was awarded the Custer-Tuggle Award for Excellence in Family Law by the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
An active participant within his legal community, Mr. Wilson is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, the Macon Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia’s Family Law Section. In addition, he holds memberships in the Atlanta Bar Association, the DeKalb County Bar Association and the Fayette County Bar Association.
