In 1990, he gained admittance to practice in Georgia as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Mr. Hofrichter is an energetic member of the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association. Heavily involved in several community organizations, he has belonged to a Kiwanis chapter for nearly two decades and previously served as the chapter's president, and he has been on the board of directors since 1996. In addition, he has served on the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce since 1999 in multiple capacities that include chair-elect, chairman and vice chairman as well as positions on the executive committee and board of directors. As a respected member of the legal community, Mr. Hofrichter has conducted continuing education courses for other attorneys on a broad range of disability-related issues.
